Global Data Centers is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.
What we do
- Semantic HTML throughout the site so screen readers can navigate by headings, landmarks, and lists
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, and interactive elements
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background
- Skip-to-content links on every page
- No content that requires hovering with a mouse to access
- Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting on devices that have it enabled
Known limitations
The interactive globe on the homepage uses WebGL, which is not fully accessible to screen readers. The information displayed on the globe (project locations and risk data) is also available through the address lookup tool, which is fully keyboard and screen-reader accessible.
