QScale is developing its Q01 data center campus in Lévis, Quebec, Canada, with Goldman Sachs Alternatives as a new investor. A report says construction began in 2021 and work on a second building started in 2022. The full campus is expected to have 142 megawatts of computing capacity.
Goldman Sachs Alternatives acquired QScale in partnership with its founders and management team. The report says QScale's management will continue to run the company and hold shares. The project row calls this Quebec City, although the cited report places Q01 in Lévis.
