Nebius runs its first data center in Mantsala, in southern Finland, and said on August 13, 2026, that it is building a second one in the town, with up to 70 megawatts of power coming online from 2027. Nebius said in March 2026 that it had finished expanding the first Mantsala data center to up to 75 megawatts of power earlier that year.

Nebius announced on October 8, 2024, that it would triple the Mantsala site's capacity to 75 megawatts, saying the expansion would let it place up to 60,000 GPUs, the computer chips used to run AI, there, with annual revenue potential of over $1 billion at full use. Nebius says the facility recovers server heat to warm nearby homes: in 2024 it said the system recovered about 20,000 megawatt hours a year, enough to heat 2,500 Finnish homes, and in March 2026 it said the heat recovery avoided about 4,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions in 2025 and cut heating costs for connected households by about 10%. The company also says its power usage effectiveness, a measure of how much of a data center's electricity reaches its computers rather than being lost to cooling, is as low as 1.1 under high loads, using outside air for cooling instead of machines.

Nebius says the Mantsala site houses Europe's first working installation of Nvidia's GB300 NVL72 system, a newer generation of AI computer hardware. "Mantsala is where we built our first data center, and our experience there has helped shape how we build and operate sites around the world," Nebius said of the new building.

Nebius's other Finnish project is a planned AI factory of up to 310 megawatts on about 100 acres in Lappeenranta, in South Karelia, with first capacity expected in 2027; with the second Mantsala building, the company says its total capacity in Finland will reach 455 megawatts across three sites.
