A building going up, a rezoning sign on a fence, a notice in the paper, a name on a county agenda. Send whatever you have, even if it is only half a story. A person reads every report. Nothing you send goes on the map by itself.

  2. We check it

    We look for the permit, the agenda item, the filing, or the news story behind it. That is what every entry on this site is built on.

  3. It goes on the map, with its sources

    If it holds up, it gets added with links to the records we found. If we cannot confirm it yet, we hold it and keep watching.
