Jiangsu's data centers sit in the belt of cities between Shanghai and Nanjing, part of the Yangtze River Delta, one of China's eight national computing hubs. The main projects on record are Princeton Digital Group's. Its NJ1 campus in the Jiangning High-Tech Zone of Nanjing has four buildings and 43 megawatts of power. Its NT1 campus in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone, across the Yangtze from Shanghai, is planned for four buildings and 64 megawatts.
In 2020 PDG said Nantong's first phase, of 26 megawatts, would be ready in late 2022. The company's own site still lists NT1 as planned. Jiangsu shows where China's computing actually goes. Beijing's 2022 plan was meant to push data centers west to cheap renewable power, but chip installations remain concentrated in eastern provinces including Jiangsu, the newsletter ChinaTalk reported in July 2026: "The Yangtze River Delta spills into nearby Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui."
