Data centers in Cambria County, Pennsylvania: 1 project mapped
The only data center tracked in Cambria County is viLogics' facility in Ebensburg, which is already operating. No new data center proposal has been reported for the county.
The subject came up anyway when Pennsylvania's 2026 State of the Commonwealth Address was held in Cambria County on September 4, at Pitt-Johnstown's John P. Murtha Center. Rep. Jim Rigby, R-71st District, told the crowd data centers are "good" but "come with a price," saying any that come to the area "need to be self-sufficient," provide their own power and secure their own water source.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro has since ordered data centers off the state's fast-track permitting track and required them to supply their own power, changes that would apply to any future Cambria County project.
