atNorth is building FIN04, a data center campus in Myllykoski, Kouvola, about 139 kilometers northeast of Helsinki. The 65-hectare site is under construction and is planned to reach 430 megawatts of power, atNorth's fourth site in Finland. YIT agreed in July 2026 to build the data center on a design-build contract worth about 300 million euros, with construction starting immediately and the project due to finish by the end of 2027.
atNorth is working with the city of Kouvola and energy partner KSS Energia to recycle excess heat from the data center through the KSS heating plant, providing heating and hot water for the local community.
