atNorth runs ICE03, a data center in Akureyri, one of Iceland's tech hubs in the north of the country. It is operating today on a 4.3 hectare site, currently listed at 12 megawatts of power, with room on the campus, atNorth says, to grow to 50 megawatts.
atNorth says it works with the agriculture technology company Hringvarmi to recycle excess heat from the site. The site runs on renewable, geothermal-backed power with natural free air cooling from Iceland's cold climate.
