CDC Data Centres' Laverton campus, on Leakes Road in Laverton North, in Melbourne's south-west, Victoria, Australia, is under construction as the company's second Melbourne data center campus. CDC broke ground on February 17, 2025, on what it then called a 150 megawatt campus; the company's Melbourne page now says the finished campus will add more than 400 megawatts of capacity.

Wyndham City Mayor Mia Shaw, Laverton MP Sarah Connolly and federal MP Tim Watts joined CDC founder and chief executive Greg Boorer at the groundbreaking; Boorer said he was "delighted to expand our presence in Melbourne and offer more customers access to our secure, reliable, sustainable and connected data centre solutions." CDC says the project will put more than $2.7 billion into the economy during construction and, combined with the company's Brooklyn campus, will give CDC over 780 megawatts of capacity across Melbourne.

On September 22, 2026, Victorian Premier Ben Carroll announced new rules requiring data centers to supply their own renewable energy, stop using drinking water for cooling and sit at least 150 meters from homes. The rules are not retrospective, so the Laverton campus and eight other applications already before the planning minister would not have to meet them; Greens MP Sarah Mansfield called the changes "a huge win for communities," while Data Centres Australia chief executive Belinda Dennett called them "disappointing."
