Amazon Web Services operates a data center on Boulevard Lionel-Boulet in Varennes, Quebec, Canada. Workers Alliance activists blockaded the site in April 2025 to protest Amazon layoffs in the province, DCD reported.
The group said its picket kept 20 staff from reaching work; the protest was not believed to have interrupted data center operations.
