Intero Systems data center, Atlanta, Georgia

Intero Systems runs a data center at 1800 Phoenix Boulevard, Suite 201, near College Park and the Atlanta airport, in Clayton County, Georgia. The company rents server space to other businesses for a monthly fee and describes the building as an enterprise class facility with secured entry, backup cooling and power, fire suppression and fiber connections. Intero says it has more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications and network infrastructure.

Clayton County has had a moratorium on new data center applications and construction in unincorporated areas since September 2025, extended three times since then, though Intero's building predates it. Commissioner DeMont Davis said at a July 2026 town hall: "We have to put policies in place that are going to dictate the locations where they can be and where they cannot be." In nearby Lovejoy, developers withdrew a 15 building, 403 acre data center campus planned across the street from two schools after residents objected.
