TierPoint Valley Forge Data Center, Norristown, Pennsylvania

TierPoint's Valley Forge data center is an operating colocation and cloud facility at 1000 Adams Avenue in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, with a Norristown mailing address about 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia near I-76. The building totals more than 137,000 square feet, including more than 61,000 square feet of server floor space and more than 24,000 square feet of business continuity workspace. It runs on nine backup generators with at least 48 hours of fuel, and it hosts one of TierPoint's shared cloud pods.

TierPoint does not publish the site's total power capacity, and it also runs data centers elsewhere in Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, the Lehigh Valley, Bethlehem and Allentown. Montgomery County has since tightened its rules for future data center projects: the Montgomery and Chester county planning commissions published a guide recommending towns treat data centers as a conditional use with performance standards and siting requirements. On August 18, 2026, Gov. Josh Shapiro signed an executive order requiring developers to win local approval before the state issues permits for data center projects.
