Bulk Infrastructure data centers: 5 sites mapped

Bulk Infrastructure, a Norwegian data center operator, has closed a €410 million loan to keep building its N01 campus in Vennesla municipality, just outside Kristiansand in the Agder region, the site CoreWeave chose for an Nvidia GB200 NVL72 cluster. The loan, arranged by ABN Amro, Citibank Europe and Nordea, is secured against N01's first phase and will pay for continued expansion and refinance existing debt. "This financing marks a significant milestone for our robust platform to meet fast-growing customer demand for AI training and inference," chief executive Jon Gravråk said.

The campus sits on a three-square-kilometer site next to a transformer station, with 400 megawatts of power secured and room to expand to 1 gigawatt, DCD reported. Construction began in 2014; Bulk opened a 12-megawatt facility there in 2023 and broke ground on a 42-megawatt facility in January 2024, designed for high-density GPU and CPU equipment, which is the building CoreWeave announced in March 2025 for one of the largest Nvidia AI deployments in Europe. Bulk said it was also working with regional and national grid companies to add 300 megawatts of capacity in 2026.

Bulk also runs the Oslo Internet Exchange, a former printing press that opened as a data center in 2014. It took full ownership in January 2022 by buying out the hydropower company Akershus Energi, and added three data halls that doubled its capacity to 14 megawatts. It also operates a site in Esbjerg, Denmark, and holds land for future expansion in Arendal, Norway.
