Skybox Atlantic Station data center, Plano, Texas

Skybox Atlantic Station is a planned 100 megawatt build-to-suit data center campus that Skybox Datacenters is marketing with Prologis on the former NTT Data Services site at 2300 West Plano Parkway in Plano, Collin County, Texas. Prologis still lists it as available, describing a second phase "designed to facilitate up to 4 mission critical data centers" on the 64-acre site.

The campus could hold up to 1 million square feet of data center space, with an on-site substation that had 25 megawatts available when Skybox first listed it in April 2023. Skybox says the substation is privately owned, that the site sits in Oncor's deregulated power territory and that build-to-suit projects can be delivered in 12 to 24 months.

The land has a long history as a technology campus. It was the former Perot Systems complex, which Dell bought in 2009 for $3.9 billion and sold to NTT Data in 2016 in a deal valued at more than $3 billion; NTT sold the million-square-foot complex to GI Partners in early 2019 and leased it back, including two data center buildings. Parts of the campus were demolished in 2021, and a Prologis affiliate bought the 64 acres at the end of that year. The first phase of Prologis Atlantic Station is three industrial buildings, of about 160,000, 110,000 and 122,000 square feet, with dock doors and build-to-suit office space.

Plano residents have started asking the city for data center rules. At a June 2026 City Council meeting, resident Kyle McGinn urged officials to explore a data center moratorium or add a special zoning category for data centers to the Unified Development Code the city is rewriting. "I can recruit people. I can call people. I can block walk for these people", resident Shirley Lawson said, noting several council members face reelection in 2027. The council did not discuss data centers at that meeting. Elsewhere in Plano, Overwatch Capital bought a 30 megawatt data center in Legacy West in 2025 and planned to begin operations there in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Skybox says zoning allows data centers by right on the campus, so a data center there would not need a rezoning. Any new city rules on data centers would come from the Plano City Council, which residents have asked to act through its Unified Development Code rewrite.
