STACK DFW01 (Plano) data center, Plano, Texas

STACK Infrastructure's DFW01 data center campus on Pinecrest Drive in Plano, in Collin County north of Dallas, Texas, offers 80MW of critical capacity across 45 acres, according to the company. STACK lists two buildings at the Plano data center campus, DFW01A with 21MW in 318,000 square feet and DFW01B with 11MW in 156,000 square feet, and an adjacent expansion, DFW01C, with 48MW in 332,000 square feet. The company markets DFW01 for its low-latency connection to the Dallas Infomart interconnection hub.

STACK's second Dallas-area campus, DFW02, is much larger: it spans 193 acres in Lancaster, south of Dallas, where the company offers up to 500MW.

Statewide, Gov. Greg Abbott ordered the Public Utility Commission of Texas and ERCOT on August 3, 2026, to audit data centers moving through ERCOT's interconnection queue, saying any that fail should be denied connection to the grid. On September 21 he told the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to issue no permits sought by data center projects until the ERCOT and Texas Water Development Board audits are complete.
