Soluna Holdings, an Albany, New York company that builds computing sites beside wind and solar farms, is developing Project Annie next to a solar farm outside Paris, within the Tyson Nick Solar Project on Old Bonham Road. Announced in May 2025 as Soluna's first solar-powered site, the project is described in the company's June 2026 business update as "a 74MW Bitcoin hosting site" for a potential new customer, next to a 114-megawatt solar farm that began operating in October 2025. It is named for Annie Easley, the NASA computer scientist and mathematician.

Soluna's model is to use power a wind or solar farm cannot sell, often because the grid is congested. "We're using energy that already exists, often energy that would otherwise be curtailed," chief executive John Belizaire told Data Center Knowledge in January 2026. The company's sites host bitcoin mining, and some also host AI and high-performance computing; it has not said which Project Annie would serve.

As of its May 2025 announcement, Soluna had only a term sheet for power and said it would next work on power purchase agreements, land agreements and ERCOT's planning process. No county commissioners vote, tax abatement or public hearing on the project has taken place, so residents near Old Bonham Road have not yet had a public forum on it.
