Blueprint Project data center, Georgetown, Texas

Blueprint Data Centers is building a 25-megawatt data center on about 10 acres off Westinghouse Road in Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, a $160 million project of about 45,000 square feet. It is the smaller of the company's two Williamson County sites; the other is a planned 60-megawatt campus in Taylor, and Blueprint says the two together will deliver 85 megawatts by early 2027.

The Georgetown City Council granted zoning and a 10-year, 50% property tax abatement for the project in September 2024, and the first phase was expected to operate by late 2026 with completion in early 2027, according to Hello Georgetown, citing the Austin Business Journal. Electricity would come from Georgetown Utility Systems, the city-owned utility, under a commercial rate structure, and in January 2026 the company said both Williamson County sites were moving forward on firm utility commitments and defined energization schedules.

After the project was announced, Georgetown residents raised concerns about rate impacts, and Hello Georgetown later clarified that the tax abatement covers property taxes only, not the electricity or water rates, which the company pays at full commercial rates. Georgetown draws most of its water from the Brazos River Authority's lakes, and a project like this must pass a utility capacity review.

Blueprint, founded in 2023, took a strategic investment from Northampton Capital Partners in April 2025; its founder and chief executive, Yaerid Jacob, has said, "In Texas today, megawatts on a slide don't mean much if you can't energize them in time." At its Taylor site, a separate lawsuit over the land's use as parkland was dismissed in October 2025, a ruling now on appeal. The company's January 2026 update still targeted power delivery in 2026.
