T5 Data Centers filed a state review in September 2023 for a data center campus, later named Project Pegasus, on 200 acres at Weldon and Palmetto-Tyrone roads in Coweta County, Georgia. The review describes 2.95 million square feet across seven buildings, built out by 2030, with T5@Atlanta IV, LP listed as developer. Coweta County still counted this filing among five data center proposals on its books as of June 2026, though the land remains zoned rural conservation and no public hearing had been scheduled.

T5 ended up building its second Atlanta-area campus in a different city, South Fulton, about 25 miles north, where it finished buying a 91-acre site already zoned for data centers in August 2024 and where it plans up to 300 megawatts of power. Sarah Jacobs, executive director of the Coweta County Development Authority, told the Newnan Times-Herald that a state review is only part of how a company picks a site, and that Coweta still draws steady data center interest for its pro-business policies, economic development support and nearness to an airport.

The Coweta review estimates Project Pegasus would be worth $1.5 billion at buildout, bring about $3 million a year in property taxes, and use 77,000 gallons of water and 65,000 gallons of sewage a day. Coweta commissioners adopted a moratorium on new data center filings in June 2026, set to expire December 23, 2026, or whenever the county adopts revised data center rules, whichever comes first. The five data center proposals already on file, including this one, are exempt from that pause because they were submitted under the county's existing ordinance.
