Vantage Data Centers plans a third Santa Clara data center campus, CA3, at 2590 Walsh Avenue in Santa Clara, Santa Clara County, within two miles of its first two campuses and close to San Jose International Airport. The nearly 8-acre site will hold 486,000 square feet in one four-story building with 64 megawatts of power, run on renewable electricity from Silicon Valley Power, Vantage says. Vantage bought the plot, a 1980 warehouse of 113,600 square feet, for $40 million in 2021, then borrowed $350 million from Societe Generale in 2022 to convert it.

Vantage's own site still describes CA3 in future tense, saying it "will include" the new space, and no report says construction is finished or the building has opened. Two other new Santa Clara data centers, built by Digital Realty and Stack, stood finished but empty in late 2025, both waiting for Silicon Valley Power to connect them. Santa Clara collects about $40.9 million a year from its data centers in taxes and utility payments, the city's economic development director Reena Brilliot has said.
