NTT Global Data Centers bought 103 acres off John Marshall Highway in Gainesville from Lerner Enterprises in June 2022 to build a campus planned at 336 megawatts of IT load across four buildings, more than two million square feet in all. The first building, VA11, is planned to open in early 2027 with 96 megawatts of IT load and more than 300,000 square feet of space.
In March 2026, NTT said it had signed new capacity commitments at this campus as part of nearly 115 megawatts secured across its Gainesville, Chicago and Sacramento sites.
