Google's data center campus in Bristow, Prince William County, Virginia, known as Mango Farm, covers 250 acres at 13001 Rollins Ford Road, next to Gainesville High School and across from the Jiffy Lube Live amphitheater. One building of about 290,000 square feet has run there since 2023, and county filings show Google plans at least three buildings on the site. The county values the property at $1.2 billion.

Google announced $9 billion of investment across Virginia on August 27, 2025, covering cloud and artificial intelligence work, a new data center in Chesterfield County, and expansion at its Loudoun and Prince William sites, though it did not say how much would go to new Bristow buildings. Governor Glenn Youngkin called the money "a powerful endorsement of our commonwealth's leadership in the AI economy," and Trevor Johnson, the county's deputy director of economic development, called it "a vote of confidence" in the county.

Google's own site drew protest before it was built. In 2022 the company submitted plans for 11 buildings up to 75 feet tall on the property, bordering the Silver Leaf Estates and Amberleigh Station neighborhoods, and the approved rezoning left only a 100 foot buffer between the data centers and Silver Leaf Estates homes. Telma Zambrana, a 27 year resident of Silver Leaf Estates who learned of the plans only a week before, said: "I can't find any [other] development that's being encircled with data centers around them that are 80 feet high."

Prince William County limits noise in residential areas to 60 decibels between 8am and 10pm and 55 decibels at night, but the ordinance exempts data center air conditioning units from the night limit. Kathy Kulick, a leader of the HOA Roundtable, a coalition of 50 homeowner and civic associations across Prince William and Loudoun counties, said residents had not come there to "live next to an industrial zone, let alone the world's largest data center industrial zone."

The next change is on Google's doorstep. The Prince William Times reported in November 2025 that the 42 acre Bristow Industrial Park next door, which includes South Riding Nurseries, is to be razed and replaced with two 85 foot tall data centers and an electrical substation, under a pending rezoning application. Developer Scott Plein sold the land for $75 million in September 2023 to Black Chamber Group, the data center developer that also bought Merrifield Garden Center in Gainesville. Rezonings like that one go to the Prince William Board of County Supervisors.
