NTT Global Data Centers is developing the Tokyo TKY12 data center campus in Shiroi, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The six-building campus is designed for about 200 megawatts of computing capacity. Its first phase is expected to enter service in 2030 or later, after utility power connections are complete.
TKY12 is planned beside NTT's TKY11 data center, which the article says is a separate 50-megawatt site scheduled to open in April 2027. NTT said the timing of TKY12's first phase depends on securing grid power. The company is coordinating the development with Shiroi City and local stakeholders.
