CyrusOne's Allen campus at 2300 Chelsea Boulevard in Allen, a Dallas suburb in Collin County, Texas, holds its operating DFW3 and DFW4 data centers, which the company says provide 77 megawatts of computing power on a 90-acre site it calls the largest data center campus in Texas. The campus is planned for 976,000 square feet of building space at full build-out, with a third site, DFW5, held as land for future development, and the buildings use a closed-loop, water-free cooling system.

CyrusOne first announced the campus in 2017, and in 2023 filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to invest $31.5 million in DFW4, a 126,000-square-foot building, with construction running from January to September 2024.

CyrusOne, based in Dallas and jointly owned by KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners, operates more than 60 data centers across the US and Europe and named longtime executive John Hatem its chief executive in July 2026.

On September 21, 2026, Gov. Greg Abbott ordered the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to issue no new permits sought by data center projects until statewide audits of grid reliability and water use are complete, a hold that applies to new permits rather than to campuses already operating like Allen.
